Using Circuit Modeling in a Practical Many-core Architecture Design Flow
ثبت نشده
چکیده
Integrated circuit designers have relied on SPICE as their premier EDA tool long before digital system designers began using HDL simulators or logic synthesis. Today tools for computer architecture design lack standard support for multiand many-core designs. We propose using circuit models to describe the multiple processor architecture to motivate a circuit based design approach applied to a computer architecture problem. A test chip with DVFS capable processors is used to explore our ideas through software implementation.

This paper is an attempt to Numerical Modeling and Experimental Study of Air Flow in the Yazdi Wind-Towers. Wind Towers has been known as one of the most effective climatic elements in Iranian traditional architecture. This paper is an attempt to evaluating Yazdi wind-tower to discussion the two main questions: 1. What is the role of Orientation of wind-towers span, regarding to climate and he...
متن کاملUltra-Low-Energy DSP Processor Design for Many-Core Parallel Applications
Background and Objectives: Digital signal processors are widely used in energy constrained applications in which battery lifetime is a critical concern. Accordingly, designing ultra-low-energy processors is a major concern. In this work and in the first step, we propose a sub-threshold DSP processor. Methods: As our baseline architecture, we use a modified version of an existing ultra-low-power...

متن کاملA Practical Approach For Modelling Submarine Subsystem Architecture In SysML
This paper outlines a practical design approach for submarine subsystems using a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodology. At the core of this approach is a system model that provides a precise, consistent, traceable and integrated description of the submarine subsystem architecture. The system model is used to support the flow-down of requirements from the submarine missions to syste...
